The lowdown : neon marketing statics
Overview: We were excited to collaborate with The Perlin on a fun Cinema 4D neon project for the upcoming FX show, ‘The Lowdown’, starring Ethan Hawke. Our task was to create a static neon sign for the marketing campaign, designed to replace an existing sign featured in the show.
The project went through several iterations, evolving from a grungy, worn aesthetic to a more polished look, before landing on a final style that was somewhere in between. We also explored various color palettes until the final design was approved. You can see a few examples of our style frames below, along with the final product in its setting.
